Martlets Roll in Opener

Anna Hassett '27 struck out 11 batters over five innings and also homered to lead the Martlets to a win against Winchendon in the team's home opener. Melody El-Amin '27 and Mia Magriz '25 each had multiple hits and drove in three runs apiece. Paige Herlihy '25 contributed three singles, and Lily Shuster '27 had two two hits and two RBIs. Caitlyn Eaton '28 reached base in each of her at bats. El-Amin and Herlihy both made nice plays in the field, and Magriz caught an excellent game behind the plate. The Martlets will next play Cheshire Academy at home on Friday.
