Martlets Fall to Rhinos

On a rainy Wednesday afternoon, the Martlets welcomes Taft to Osborn Field. After McDonald '26 and Holmes '28 had back to back hits to start the game, the Martlets could not push across any runs. Xavier Izquierdo '27 battled on the bump, throwing 6 innings and only surrendering three runs. After building themselves a 3-0 deficit with some sloppy defense, the boys tied the game on an Ethan Villacis '27 2R double. However, the Rhinos would get a run in the 7th and the Martlets left the tying run on to end the game. The boys are back at it Saturday vs defending league-champion Kingswoox-Oxford.
