Martlet Fall in Tri Match

Playing under truly perfect conditions at Wallingford CC, the girl golfers took on the powerful teams from Choate and Loomis. Although the overall results were not fantastic, the individual matches were dramatically closer than in our previous encounters with these teams earlier in the season. Cindion Huang ‘25 played a strong match at #1, shooting 44 and having extremely close matches with both of her opponents. Lucy Wainwright ‘25 shot a 48 at the #2 position, and ended up halving her match with Loomis and losing a tightly contested match with Choate. I was also extremely impressed with the strong play of Catherine Knauf ‘27 at #5, who lost both of her matches by one stroke, but put up a great fight against skilled opponents. Overall, an improved effort for the Martlet girl golfers!
