Martlets Pull Off Win

Westminster traveled to Suffield on a windy, chilly afternoon and came away with a 4-3 victory. All three doubles teams won their matches with Harry Ganek '14 and Charlie Russell '14 winning 8-5 at the #1 position, Stephen McCormick '14 and Andrew Bell '14 winning at #2 8-6, and Alvin Heumann '14 and Gustavs Gerkens '15 prevailing at #3, 8-3. The bottom three singles players won their matches in two sets with Ganek  winning at #4 (6-0, 6-4), Gerkens winning at #5 (6-2,6-0), while Heumann was victorious at #6 (6-2, 6-2). Thomas Cragg '14 won his exhibition match 8-2. The tennis team next plays away at Gunnery this coming Saturday.
