Rhinos Stymie Martlets

The Third Boys' Lacrosse team had a tough outing, getting blanked by an impressively skilled Taft squad 5-0.  As the score indicates, the Martlets were not able to generate much offense, and only managed four or five shots, but the entire team worked hard for all four quarters, and fought hard right to the end, almost scoring in the final seconds.  In fact, long-poles Brooks King '12, Dima Kaigorodov '12, Dongho Park '13, and the many middies who chipped in on defense deserve a great deal of credit for holding Taft to five goals, four of which came on extra-man opportunities.  The first star of the game though goes to netminder Austin Pope '14 who made seventeen saves on the day.  The Martlets will look to rebound this weekend against Kent.
