Martlets Maintain Control

The Third Boys' Soccer team played another strong game as they defeated Wilbraham and Monson 3-0. Westminster controlled play for nearly the whole game as they got out to a 1-0 lead early when Drew Leach '13 converted on a great pass from Ryan Cholnoky '12. Ousseynou Tall '12 scored on a header off a great corner kick by Evan Yenor '13 to put Westminster up 2-0. The scoring was capped off when Yenor had another corner kick bounce off a defender and straight in. Westminster had many other chances but the 3-0 halftime score held up through the second half. Overall it was a well played game with a good result.
