Westminster Blood Drive Program Recognized
Westminster School has been awarded $1,000 in scholarship money by Bob’s Discount Furniture $100,000 High School Heroes Scholarship Program for the school’s support of the American Red Cross blood program.
Westminster, which holds two blood drives a year on campus, finished third place in the 2009-2010 program. A scholarship of $500 each has been awarded to Class of 2010 graduates Martha Zamora and Patricia Argueta, who both plan to attend Barnard College in the fall.
