Martlets Down Early, Unable To Catch Up

The loss of the starting Sixth Form point guard Rafi Rojas to injury made the game an up hill climb against a strong TP team. The Martlets could not get started. Westminster had many scoring opportunities and could not capitalize. TP got out to an overwhelming start of 18 - 2 and maintained the lead through halftime. Nevertheless, Westminster continued to battle for every ball and every possession. The Martlets fought back but it was not enough to carry the day. Matt Wilson '11 put forth a strong effort and earned a double double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. He was followed closely by Greg Miller '10 with 13 points. The Martlets go back to work in preparation for their next contest this weekend.
