Students Recognized at Concert and Awards Presentation

Members of the Westminster community gathered Nov. 19 for a concert and awards program in the Werner Centennial Center that was scheduled to take place during Parents’ Weekend in October, but was postponed because of a wave of flu that hit the campus. “Given our wish to honor important prize winners from last year and to give our dancers, instrumentalists and vocalists a chance to perform after all the time they spent rehearsing, we present this morning the program that you would have seen at Parents’ Weekend, ” said Headmaster Graham Cole. He added that Parents’ Weekend has been rescheduled for February.

The Dance Ensemble, the Concert Band, the Jazz Combo, the Chorale and the Chamber Choir then gave wonderful performances and Headmaster Cole and Director of Studies Greg Marco announced the following academic achievement awards.
