Black and Gold Drop Close Contest

The Second Girls' Squash team lost to Wiliston Northampton by a 4-3 margin.  The match came down to the last match and unfortunately Westminster was unable to pull off the victory.  There were some great results with both Anne Cervas '10 and Mallory Mason '11 coming from behind to win in five games.  Cervas was trailing two games to one before gaining the victory, while Mason was down two games to none before gaining the momentum and winning three straight games.  Mason was also down 10-6 in the final game before prevailing 12-10.  Katie Polio '11 was the other victor winning in three straight games.   Taylor Virtue '11, Sophie Harris '11, and Jaime Ferrari-McComb '09 were victorious in their exhibition matches.  The girls next travel to Suffield Academy on Friday.
