Winged Beavers Seek Revenge

Avon came over to Westminster on Friday of Parents’ Weekend to avenge the Martlet victory on their parents' weekend the week before.  Unfortunately, that is what happened.  Though the Black and Gold played a tough game and played very hard, they just could not score.  Sumner Miller ’10, James Lord ’09 and Taylor Paul ’11 did their best running the ball, but Westminster could not sustain any momentum on offense to score a touchdown.  On defense, Cam Kurtz ’12 and Patrick Neidermeyer ’10 played solid defense at linebacker making numerous tackles.  Drew Lemnios ’09 moved to defensive tackle and did a fine job as well.  Next up Kent, whose is always very good.
