Martlets Give It Their All In Difficult Game

Westminster lost to a strong Loomis squad 15-5.  The Martlets started off well with draw controls and tough defense and with 12 minutes to go in the half were up 4-1.  But Loomis rallied and they scored a series of unanswered goals.  The half ended  with the score 8-4.  Though the Black and Gold gave it all they had Loomis held the momentum.  Westminster worked hard on ground balls and did not let their offense settle into a comfortable attack - always challenging the ball and working hard to move the ball up the field.  The game ended 15-5, but the Martlets left the field with their heads high knowing they had given all they had to give on that afternoon.  The team is looking ahead to Hotchkiss on Saturday.
