After returning from the spring break, the Westminster community assembled March 28 for presentation of the winter term awards. Headmaster Graham Cole began the ceremony by welcoming everyone back to the Hill and sharing his thoughts on the topic of achievement. Click here to read remarks.

In the performing arts, Theater Director Doug Lind presented the Frances Laurel Hopkins Award to Shelby Brown. The newest members of Dramat, the student dramatic organization requiring 120 hours of service, were announced as:

Headmaster’s Awards

Headmaster Cole presented the Headmaster’s Awards in recognition of service, leadership and citizenship during the term to Cam Keady ’08 for his outstanding performances throughout his theatrical career at the school and in the winter Dramat production “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying”; and to Dana Chapin, Peter Doucette, Tiffany Liu, Sam Jackson, Pam McDonald, Sheryl Pierson, Joe Putko and Tim Quinn for their work on the EcoTeam, which led the school in the Green Cup Challenge and has inspired and educated the school community on important environmental fronts. The award comes in the form of a gold school pin.
