Westminster Loses to Berkshire

In the next to last game of the season The Martlets dropped one to a strong Berkshire squad. Evan Salzberg ’07 cracked the scoring open in a solo rush to the net only 4 minutes into the first period. Berkshire countered their next shift out and would not look back as they would score 4 unanswered goals. In a game marked with a number of power play opportunities Westminster could only muster one extra-man goal coming at 2:41 of the third period off the stick of Evan Baldwin ‘09. Carl Spevacek ’07 once again stood on his head to keep The Martlets within striking distance until the very end. The Martlets will look to put the finishing touches on the season this Saturday against Taft.
