Westminster Defeats Wilbraham & Monson
The Westminster girls faced a small but talented Wilbraham-Monson team, defeating the Titans 100-72. After a tough week of training with no meet on Wednesday, the girls managed to swim 21 season best times with Sky Biedron '07 and Grace Moore '08 earning their best diving scores. Some standout swimmers included Chinazo Okpalanma '08 swimming a great 50 fly split in the 200 Medley Relay, Ruth Planitzer ‘09 swimming three personal best times in the 50 fly, 100 free, and 100 free split in the 400 free relay, and Emily Cranshaw '08 swimming a lifetime best in the 500 free and the 100 backstroke. Liza Winship '07 also had an outstanding day, swimming a gutsy season best time in the 500 free and another best time in the 100 free. A special shout out to Courtney Stafford ’08 for swimming the 200 free and the 500 free.
