Westminster Ties Brunswick

Despite dominating play and consistently driving towards the Brunswick goal, The Martlets could not connect and earn a much-deserved victory. Westminster pounded more than 30 shots at Brunswick’s skilled keeper, who made several key saves to keep the game knotted at nil-nil. Mogan Roach ‘06, by contrast, faced only six shots and was asked to make only two saves. Andrew Skipp ‘07, Ted Moran ‘08, Carson Christman ’08 played particularly fine games and Hunt Eldridge ’08 in the midfield and the defense anchored by Cy Ryan ‘06, Steve Smith ‘06, Nick Stevens ‘05 and Clark LaMothe ’07 posted its 8th shut-out of the season. Overall this was a team effort as the Westminster Seconds turned in one of their best efforts for the season controlling the play and setting the pace for 80 minutes.
