Westminster Defeats Loomis
Westminster’s varsity Softball team had a great season opener with a strong win over Loomis. Mandy Hyne ’07 pitched seven strong innings and gave up only 4 hits in the game. Nicole Palazzo ‘08 had four base hits and three RBIs. Kim Sirko ’07 singled, doubled, and had 2RBIs. Kate Philip ’06 had two hits and two RBIs. She also threw out two runners attempting to steal. Bethany Dymarczyk ‘08 and Avignon Greene ‘09 played fine games defensively.
