Westminster First Boys Hockey Defeats Kent
The Westminster First Boys Hockey Team opened the season with a hard fought 5-2 win at Kent in a Founder’s League contest. The line of Ben Smith '06, Nick Pitsikoulis '07 and Myles Miller '07 led the offensive charge scoring three of the goals. Miller scored two goals and Smith had one. Pitsikoulis had three assists. Ollie Koo '08 and Chris DeJohn '06 also scored for the Martlets.
The defense played a strong game and Bryce Shattie '06 was solid in goal. The next challenge for the team will be on Saturday when they travel to Northfield Mount Herman for a 4:00 p.m. game.
