Martlets Defeat AOF

JV Boys Lax traveled to play neighboring rival Avon Old Farms. The boys were excited to play this squad knowing they had a good match up and similar records. The game was slow paced and intense. The first quarter finished w/ a score of zero-zero and lots of optimism from the boys. The winged beavers scored a goal early in the second quarter to make it 1-0. The score held until the fourth quarter where the boys came out dominating in the past few games. Matthew Gregorski 27’ tied the game and Conrad Kwait 27’ scored the go-ahead goal. The boys finished the game victorious over Avon with a 3-1 win on the road.
