Martlets Fall to Berkshire


The Westminster Girls Thirds Lacrosse Team traveled to Berkshire for their season-opener. Lilly McMillen ‘27 opened the scoring early in the first quarter, assisted by Juju Agyeman ‘28. Berkshire scored the next three goals, and Lylah Leigner ‘29 scored with 46 seconds left in the second to cut the deficit to 3-2. Berkshire opened the second half with two more goals, and the Martlets responded with two of their own from Juju Agyeman ’28 and Lylah Leigner ’29. Juju Agyeman ’28 added the lone Westy goal of the fourth quarter. Berkshire built on their lead, bringing the final score to  8-5. Maya Tran ’27 made her goaltending debut and was impressive in net.
