Martlets Get Road W at Kent
Westminster secured a pivotal Founders League victory in Kent, CT, narrowly defeating Kent School 5-4. Having played numerous close games with Kent over the years, we knew the game was going to come down to the hustle plays. Our defense came out ready to play, working together to stop the ball and cover cutters, limiting Kent to just one goal in the first three quarters. Ava Aponte '28, Gigi Filippetti '26, and Ainslee Deptula '28 were able to score crucial goals for the Martlets to give us the slim 5-4 victory and a huge win in league play. We look forward to playing Kingswood-Oxford on Monday.
