Martlets Earn Hard Fought Victory

The Martlets earned a hard-fought 4–2 victory over Frederick Gunn School in an up-and-down contest filled with pace, chances, and strong goaltending at both ends.
Westminster School struck first to set the tone, but Gunn responded quickly to keep the game tight. The action continued end-to-end through all three periods, with both teams generating quality looks and forcing the goalies to be sharp.
Leading the way offensively for the Martlets was Owen Burke ’26, who recorded the first three goals of the night for the hat trick and gave Westminster control at key moments. Gus McGarvey ’26 added an important insurance goal to cap the scoring for the Martlets.
Between the pipes, Ryan Galaski ’26 was once again outstanding, turning aside 29 shots and making several timely saves to preserve the lead as Gunn pushed back.
With contributions throughout the lineup and strong play at both ends of the ice, Westminster closed out a well-earned 4–2 win in an entertaining, high-energy matchup.
