Martlets Fall to Walkers

The Martlets made the short trip over to Walker’s to face off against the Wildcats on their home court..Right out of the gate, the Wildcats came out firing, jumping to a 12–3 lead and setting the tone early. But the Martlets didn’t back down. Coslyn Bardy drained a three-pointer to get things rolling, and Natalie House followed up by knocking in a foul shot. In the second quarter, the Martlets tightened things up defensively, holding the Wildcats to just 10 points and showing grit on every possession. The effort was there– hands up on defense, hustle on loose balls, smart rotations but unfortunately, our shots just wouldn’t fall.
Despite the scoreboard, the Martlets never let up. They battled through every quarter, pushing the pace and competing hard until the final buzzer. Coslyn continued to lead the offensive charge, adding seven more points to her total, while Morgan McQueeney contributed two key points.
