Bears Edge Out Martlets

Westminster faced Berkshire in a competitive match that featured several tightly contested battles across the ladder. Despite strong performances and determined efforts from the Martlets, Westminster ultimately fell short, with Berkshire taking the match 4–3.
Westminster earned decisive wins from Mertz ‘29, Mohammady ‘27, and Lee ‘29. Mertz ‘29 delivered a dominant three-game victory, while Mohammady ‘27 showed resilience in a four-game match to secure another point. Lee ‘29 closed out the day with an impressive straight-game win, showcasing consistency and control.
Several other matches were hard-fought, with Kim ‘28 and Khuu ‘28 both pushing their opponents in close games, and Breslav ‘26 and Ni ‘29 battling through challenging rallies. Overall, the Martlets competed with grit and intensity, gaining valuable match experience against a strong Berkshire side. Next week we see Choate for a second time this season. The girls are pumped up and ready for a Galintine’s Match.
