Martlets Fall to AOF

The team was excited for a Monday afternoon tilt against Avon. Connor Scollans “26 led the way for the Martlets with a hard fought victory in 5 games. It was great to see him dig deep and pull out the lone win. Connor was able to keep pressure on his opponent with excellent volleys and deep rails to his opponents  backhand. Will Jones ‘28 and James Teng ‘26 also worked tirelessly to try to pull out the win but ended up losing tight 5 game matches in the number 5 and 1 positions respectively. James pl;ayed one of his best matches of the season, hitting excellent drops and moving around the court for numerous impressive retrievals. Overall, it was a great day of squash with many close matches and well constructed points. We look forward to hosting Hotchkiss at 4pm on Wednesday.
