Martlets Fall to Bearcats

Westminster hosted Hotchkiss at the Kohn Squash Pavilion on a sunny, chilly Wednesday. The team was excited to take on the current top team in New England. Will Jones ‘28 went down 11-7 in the first game but was able to battle back to even the game score at 1 with excellent depth on his rails. He continued to work hard in the next two games eventually falling 3-1. In the number 7 position, Isaac Kwon ‘28 hustled all over the court to retrieve so many tight rails. In addition, he really volleyed more regularly to put more pressure on his opponent. It was great to see all the progress he is making in his game.  After two rounds of matches, the Martlets fell 7-0 to a superior Bearcat squad. The boys look to comeback strong after a well deserved Long Winter Weekend when they take on Williston Northampton at home.
