Martlets Fall to W and M

The Martlets stepped into the new gym ready to redeem themselves from the previous loss, and they did just that. Although the game ended in a loss for us, sometimes there are indeed wins within a loss— and this team had many on the court today. Arielle Anderson played a phenomenal game pulling down rebounds, forcing turnovers and scoring her first two points of the season. Coslyn Bardy cleared six feet as she flew into the air for rebounds and put two points up.  Esther Lee and Piper Lundin led the team in points, scoring four each. Morgan McQueeney and Caitlyn Eaton both scored their first two of the season and brought the juice with their aggressive defending.

Grit and Grace Award: Piper Lyndon for scoring four points, making plays happen and leading with positivity on and off the court.
