Westy Falls to Kent

Thursday night, the Martlets hosted Loomis Chaffee for our second home match of the year. The team played well together; they were able to receive strong serves and set up some great plays. Kaitlyn Buda ‘27 and Arielle Anderson ‘28 helped add a few points for the Martlets with strong blocks and powerful plays on the net. June Perrin ‘29 and Chloe Donovan ‘29 were consistent servers, both serving a couple of aces to battle back against Loomis. In the third set, the Martlets were close, only losing 25-22, thanks to their communication, persistence, and overall teamwork.

Our Grit & Grace Award goes to Chloe Donovan ‘29 for constantly encouraging her teammates and demonstrating perseverance throughout the whole game.
