Martlets Defeat K-O

It was a beautiful, sunny fall day at Kingswood Oxford as the Martlets took the field. Westminster struck first when Callie Graby ’28 delivered a corner that ended up in the back of the net, giving the Black and Gold an early lead. Despite controlling possession and dictating play, the score remained 1–0 heading into halftime.
After regrouping at the break, the Martlets came out on fire to start the second half. Mia Fluckiger ’26 exploded offensively, netting a hat trick in a matter of minutes with assists from Izzie Leone ’27 and Maya Goddard ’26. Not long after, Goddard added a goal of her own, directly off a corner, to cap off a dominant second half performance.
Every player contributed to the win, and the team’s energy was contagious from start to finish. The Martlets will look to carry this momentum into Wednesday’s matchup against cross-town rival Ethel Walker.
