Martlets Finish Third at Founder's

With hopes and expectations running high, the boys returned to Watertown CC for the Founders League Championship, this time for an 18 hole tournament. Although their third-place finish represents a good outcome in historical terms, it must be said that the boys were disappointed. With the exception of Brody DiBeneditto ‘26, whose 73 was the second best individual performance of the day (Kingswood’s #1 was medalist with an outstanding 67), the remainder of the lineup put up respectable scores that were just a bit off from what they were capable of shooting. Behind DiBeneditto, Reed Ghriskey ‘26 carded a 77, Will McCarthy ‘26 shot 79, Carson Craig ‘26 shot 81, Blake Burke ‘26 shot 84, and Jack Fichthorn ‘26 shot 85. The boys will no doubt be relishing the chance to finish in fine fashion at the season-ending KIT on Wednesday.
