Martlets Put up 15 in Win

This was our first time playing the Master’s School and Westminster showed both grit and grace at this away game. This is the second win of the season and there were some phenomenal plays out on the field today. Huge shout out to Alex Wood ‘25 for being a great teammate and helping with 5 assists and scoring 3 points. Tying with Wood and also bringing the team 3 points was Brendan Gilooly ‘26. He had some great catches and was spirited on the bench, where he never missed an opportunity to cheer on peers. A powerful duo on the field today was Hannah Maltby ‘26 and AJ Jimenez ‘25. They are vocal and hold the team’s communication in check, an important reason for the win today. They hustled and kept the energy up the entire game. There was lots of exciting energy for Ethan Hernadez ‘27 and Garrett Rohraugh ‘27 who both scored their first points of the season! The team did an amazing job today and had the chance to play in this beautiful weather.

GRIT & Grace Award and why - The award goes to Andrew Ma ‘27 because he was a staple in the team’s win today. Although more on the quiet side, Ma has no problem keeping up on the field, diving for passes, and subbing when people are exhausted. He loves the sport and always gives 100% effort, whether in the game or at practice. Go, Andrew!
