Martlets Fall to KO and Ethel Walker
The Martlets faced Kingswood Oxford as well as Ethel Walker this past Saturday and had a great day of racing. The lady Martlets led off with second place in the 200 Medley Relay with the team of Ellie Pearman ’25, Hayden Schneider ’25, Jen Weber ’26 and Sunshine Li ’26. Hayden Schneider ’25 won first place in the 200 free. Jen Weber ’26 won third place in the 200 IM with Ellie Pearman ’25 taking fifth place. Sunshine Li ’26, Lily Raskind and Ellie Mallett ’28 finished fourth, fifth and sixth place in the 50 free. Sunshine Li ’26, Cameron Perillo’28 and Ellie Mallett ’28 won fourth, fifth and sixth place in the 100 free. Hayden Schneider ’25 won the 500 free. The 200 free relay placed fourth. Ellie Pearman ’25, Jen Weber ’26 and Cameron Perillo ’28 placed third, fourth and eighth in the 100 back. Lily Raskind ’25 and Jasmine Fu ’27 placed fourth and sixth in the 100 breaststroke. The meet wrapped up with the 400 free relay team of Ellie Pearman ’25, Jen Weber ’26, Jasmine Fu ’27 and Hayden Schneider ’25 winning fourth place.
The Martlets are back in the pool on Saturday facing Williston and Suffield.
