Martlets Finish Third

In our first set of “dual” (tri) meets of the season, the Martlets headed north to Williston to face both the hosts and Kingswood Oxford. Crisp conditions allowed for our boys to run their best, with several groups working together throughout to pace themselves during the race. Leading the pack was Jay Henry '23, who claimed 17th overall at just under 20:30. He was followed by Sam Bradley '23, Jakub McKinney '23, and James O'Connell ‘25, all in under 21:30. O’Connell took home a 30 second PR, and another special shout out to Mike Basich ‘26 for another PR on our first race at Choate back in week 2! Despite the strong performances, Williston and KO still took victories over our team. Next week the boys will make a short voyage to Suffield to face off against both Berkshire and Suffield on a fast course. Let’s go Martlets!
