Students Win Prizes in National French Competition

In March, Westminster French students were among 68,780 students across the United States who participated in the National French Contest titled Le Grand Concours. The American Association of Teachers of French sponsors the annual competition. Students of French in grades 1-12 in all 50 states and abroad take a written test and compete against students with a similar educational background for prizes.

“We are extremely proud of our national prize winners and of all students who participated in the contest,” said Westminster French teacher Claudia McGuigan. “The competition was fierce, and many of our students were among the best of the best. Félicitations!”
