Westminster Scores Early and Shuts the Door

The final game of the week for Third Boys’ Hockey saw the team take on another local opponent, this time from the Avon Youth Hockey program. In contrast to last night's back and forth affair, today’s game saw Westminster make its first period goal stand up for the duration of the contest. Tommy Nugent '22 scored from the right point just 3:25 minutes into the game. From that moment on, solid play from all four forward lines, the defensive corps, and goalie Rich Mugler '22 allowed the Martlets to close out the game with a 1-0 victory and a combined record of 2-0-1 for the week. Of note, Mugler has notched shutouts in two of the team's three victories this season.
