Strong Finish To Impressive Season

Third Boys' Soccer ended their season on a very positive note by beating Kent 6-1.  There were many highlights from a great season and this game just capped it off.  Quan Luu '12 ended his soccer career at Westminster by scoring a hat trick.  Ryan Mowery '13 amd Evan Yenor '13 each scored a goal.  Sean Orlando '13 scored his first goal of the season and had another goal called back as the referee blew the whistle for a Kent foul even though Westminster had the advantage.  Both goal keepers played great games as Phil Morin '15 made many great saves including a free kick from the top of the 18.  David Lee '14 managed to stop a penalty kick as he faked like he was going to dive right and then came back left to keep the ball out of the net.  Miguel Castello '13 struck a great free kick that bent just over the top of the Kent wall and barely missed going in as it rang off the crossbar and bounced straight down.
