Williston Keeps Fighting

he Seconds traveled to Easthampton, Massachusetts and defeated Williston 6-4. Both Evan Neugold '12 and Assistant Captain, Oscar Ladd '11, scored two goals apiece. Tommy Hovey '11 had a nice tip-in goal off a Will Steven's '12 shot from the point. James Clarke '10 completed the scoring with an end-to-end rush and a roofed finish. Westminster clearly had the upper hand in terms of talent but the team played too casually and too soft for much of this contest. To Williston's great credit they played hard right to the last buzzer earning two of their tallies in the final 7 seconds of the game. The Black and Goal will face its toughest opponent to date when Kent rolls into Simsbury on Saturday. The Marlets will have to step it up in all zones if they wish to keep their current streak alive.
