Martlets Fight Back and Claim Victory

It was a poor start for the Martlets as scored 3 unanswered goals in the first five minutes.  After a productive timeout, the Black and Gold returned to the field with a great interception and goal by Emma Beck '08.  The first half ended with Liz Cole '09 finding th back of the cage in the last second.  After the intermission, Westminster kept rolling backed by strong goaltending by Kristen Maxwell '10 who allowed only 1 goal in the half.  The Martlets scored 5 unanswered goals before Kent was able to respond but it was too little too lion for the Lions. Cole led all scorers with a hat trick.  Westminster showed cohesiveness and really pulled it together to take the win.
