Fine Display of Field Hockey
Westminster played strong from the first whistle to the final buzzer and displayed their best teamwork of the season against Miss Porter's. With sharp stick skills and good passes, the midfield of Halley Cruice '11, Claire Hodson '11, Courtney Kirsch '08, Emily Snoddon '10, and Izzie Wragg '09 controlled the field effectively and continuously fed the ball to the offensive line. Kelly Cheng '08 tallied four goals and Claire Hodson '11 and Julia Simons '09 each rounded out the scoring by rebounding shots off the goalie's pads and firing the ball to the back of the cage. Jaime McComb '09, Juliette McComb '09, and Halley Cruice '11 all had assists this afternoon to help the Martlets improve to 4-0 on the season.
