Westminster Loses to Suffield

Suffield won the meet on the final relay, the 4x 400, after making a comeback in the late events, particularly the 300 Hurdles and 3000 meters and the 800. Ashley Robinson ’06 picked up where she left off with a win and a second in the Shot Put and Discus. Newcomer Jacki Savage ’09 had three wins in her events and a second in her events. Westminster swept the High Jump (Savage 1st, Jordan Hill ’08 2nd, Maddie Dailey ’09 3rd) and went 1-2 in the Long Jump (Minjae Yoon ‘08 1st and Juliet Okpalanma ’06 2nd) and 100 meters (Savage 1st and Kayla Lessard ’08 2nd). Overall the Martlets had 7 firsts in 17 events and 8 seconds place in a close match won the final gun.
