Martlets Place 7th

On a very rainy Saturday, the Martlet women headed to the Founders League Championship looking to make a big impact. Sofia Eleuteri got the team off to a hot start, placing 5th in the pole vault, followed up by Hannah Batoh ‘29 doing her season best performance in the discus. Morgan McQueeny ‘29 got the team off to a strong start on the track as well, making the 100m finals and Chloe Champoux ‘28 carried this momentum placing 4th in the 800m and 8th in the 800m. June Perrin also performed admirably, placing 5th and 6th in the 300m hurdles and 400m respectively, with Arielle Anderson and Rose Robertson ‘28 rounding out the top 8 performances with a 6th place finish in the 100m hurdles and 7th in the 300m hurdles respectively. The day capped off very well, with the 4x400m relay team of Sofia, June, Chloe, and Rose placing fourth in the 4x400m with a down to the wire finish. Overall, the team performed exceptionally well in some very tough weather, and look to finish their season off strong next week as they head to the NEPSTA championships.
