Martlets Defeat AOF

The Westminster Thirds Boys Lacrosse team completed a successful undefeated 2-0 season with a convincing home win over the Winged Beavers of Avon Old Farms. The Martlets jumped out to a quick lead with Grayson Augsberger ‘29 dominating at the faceoff dot and Drew Doering ‘29 finding openings in the defense with skilled and disciplined play at the attack position. Seojun Yuk ‘29 also had a great game at attack, scoring two goals and helping Westminster control the ball in their offensive zone. Beckett Long ‘29 played disciplined defense and scored a memorable goal, carrying the ball from deep in the defensive zone and shooting precisely into the right corner of the net. It was a true team win for Westminster and it was great for many of the players who have been dedicated to the JV team with limited playing time to have their moment to shine. The future of Westminster lacrosse is bright!
