Martlets Fall to Berkshire

On a picture-perfect spring day, the Martlets traveled to Massachusetts to take on the Berkshire Bears. Though the Bears struck early to claim a lead they would ultimately hold, Westminster continued to work hard. The defense remained a bright spot, consistently disrupting Berkshire’s flow with aggressive play and creating opportunities for the attack. Lily Pokorny ‘29 anchored the transition game, showcasing impressive poise and skill as she navigated the ball through the midfield into the attacking zone. Once again, Joanna Halle ‘29 stood tall, finishing the day with an impressive 18 saves.
