Trinity Pawling
5-4 win

The Martlets had yet another long haul to face the Trinity-Pawling Pride this weekend. The Martlets were determined to get another win under their belt after a hard fought tie with Salisbury. This was a true game of grit and determination. The boys conceded two goals in the first half and found a way to answer with a goal of their own. Wayne Kelly 27’ found the back of the net and cut the lead down to one. The defense had yet another impressive game with Jack Perkins 27’ having a standout game in his home state. The game concluded in dramatic fashion as the boys found themselves down one goal with two minutes left in the game. Ty Lambert 26’ stepped up for the martlets and tied the game with a minute and thirty seconds left in regulation. Ty wanted to add even more excitement to the game by scoring the go ahead goal to seal the comeback last minute victory for the Martlets. The boys made the long bus ride home with an impressive 5-4 win over Trinity-Pawling.
