Martlets Battle Choate and Porter's

On a sunny, but chilly, day at Tunxis Country Club, the Westminster girls fell to a powerful squad from Choate and battled to an exciting tie with Miss Porter’s. Lauren Levinson ‘26 played a strong match against her MPS opponent and came away with a 5 & 4 victory at the #1 spot. Catherine Knauf ‘27 shot the low Westminster round of the day (48) and came away with an exciting 2 Up victory versus her MPS opponent at the #3 spot. The highlight of the day was Jane Kim ‘28 playing at #5 (in her first career match), battling back from 3-down with 3 holes to play to secure a tie against her MPS opponent. An exciting start to the young season, and I look forward to watching the girls develop their skills as the season progresses.
