Martlets Fall in Tri-Match

The Martlets traveled up to Andover, Ma to play two top teams in New England, Phillips Andover Academy and Belmont Hill. First up, we took on the home team Andover. Will Henry ‘26 did an excellent  job of volleying in order to keep the pressure on his opponent throughout his match, and Andrew Ma ‘28 worked tirelessly to track down his opponents shots and made nice adjustments and gains that saw him come closer to pulling out a third game victory. In the end, Andover possessed more firepower and came out on top 7-0.

In our second round against Belmont Hill, the Martlets showed great hustle, resilience, and determination. James Teng ‘26 hit some amazing drop shots to keep his opponent in check and Crosby Cutler ‘27 added some great deep rails to accompany his excellent volley drops.  In the end, Belmont Hill secured the 7-0 win despite some excellent efforts from our squad. The boys’ were happy to have some Chick-Fil-A on the way home after all their hard work in both matches. We look to bounce back in a rivalry game against Avon on Monday.
