Martlets Fall To Saints

This game was a dog fight from start to finish.  The Martlets got off to a solid start but Canterbury countered midway through the first half.  Julien Wiggins ‘27 led all scorers with 32 points, he got a lot of his points from the charity stripe.  At the half, the Martlets were down by 10.  Canterbury went on a run in the second half which gave them a nice cushion.  However, the Martlets battled back to cut the lead to 8 late in the 2nd half.  Sonny Batchelor '27 chipped in with 9 points and a few assists.  Draven Chung ‘26 gave the Martlets some solid minutes in the second half against a bigger front court..  Eventually, Canterbury won the physicality battle late which led to their win. The Martlets will host Marianapolis tomorrow at 2:30.
