Martlets Fall to DA

The Martlets put up a valiant fight against the Deerfield Doors this Saturday. The Beginning of the game started slow with the Doors scoring back-to-back goals in the opening three minutes. The martlets reorganized and fought back to take the lead by the end of the first quarter. Beckett Long '29 raced down the field and scored first for the Martlets. Deerfield and the Martlets traded goals for the first three quarters making the score 6-6 heading into the fourth quarter. Matthew Gregorski 27’ and Connor Quinn '29 were among the boys who found the back of the net. Jordan Pham 27’ had an impressive performance with 14 saves and immaculate outlet passes that helped generate the offence. Ultimately the Martlets fell short in the fourth quarter with Deerfield winning the game 11-6.  Westminster will be on the road for their next match against Choate this coming Wednesday.
