Martlets Get Road Win

The Martlets headed to the northeastern corner of Connecticut to take on Pomfret.  The Martlets got off to a hot start.  However, Pomfret fought back and the game was back and forth for the entire first half.  Garrett Rohrbaugh ‘27 was a spark off the bench for the Martlets.  He played great defense and he also hit a corner three to close out the first half at the buzzer.  Elliot Goldberg ‘28 had it going in the first half, he hit four three point shots.  In the second half, Pomfret went on a run and took the lead by five.  The Martlets showed Grit by hitting timely shots and playing excellent defense.  Julien Wiggins ‘27 led all scorers with 28 points.  Ethan Griffin ‘26 had a few key buckets late to keep the Martlets afloat.  Lastly, Ethan Villacis ‘27 hit several big threes and he made timely passes to help secure the win.  The Martlets host Watkinson tomorrow.
