Bearcats Defeat Martlets

In a challenging matchup, Westminster fell to a strong Hotchkiss team with a final score of 17-1. Despite the outcome, the team showed resilience and continued to play hard through all four quarters, demonstrating grit and grace.
Kate Epke ‘27 scored the lone goal for the Martlets off an assist from Alex Musser capitalizing on a quick transition opportunity. Liza Merrill ‘25 led the team in ground balls. And the Westminster defense made several key stops and never gave up in the face of a relentless offensive push from Hotchkiss. The Martlets look to host Sacred Heart Greenwich on Wednesday.
